Sem the Elf King arrives in the Floating City of Stone. He is a stubborn Shadowling who scorns new tech and the soft ease of modern travel, so he sails up the Gia River in an old Drow war‑galley crewed by blond Jarrokian pirates — a choice that brings trouble indeed.  In the Staggering Mountain passes before reaching the city, Valley Orcs ascend the high paths, catching his scent — the unmistakable scent of a low‑elf — and move in for the kill.
