Samuel P. Kensington is the creator of the ELF WARZ Multiverse®, a dark‑fantasy world he began developing in 1994 as a Grade 12 creative‑writing project. Over three decades, that early spark evolved into a long‑running franchise known for its mythic scope, deep lore, and gritty, character‑driven storytelling.
Kensington’s early concept work drew interest from Marvel, Rainmaker, and Sony Entertainment, and he was represented by Jocelyn Psikla, known for her work with Tone Rodriguez (The Simpsons, Bongo Comics) and the KISS comic series for Dark Horse. Psikla introduced the first ELF WARZ novel, The Ruby, at Comic‑Con International in San Diego, U.S.A., helping establish the series within the genre community.
Registered with the Writers Guild of America East since 1994, ELF WARZ has expanded into a four‑book saga with a fifth installment in development. Today, Kensington brings his world to the screen as a filmmaker, using animation and proof‑of‑concept shorts to explore the cinematic potential of the ELF WARZ Multiverse. His work blends dark‑fantasy aesthetics with atmospheric, genre‑driven storytelling, reflecting a lifelong dedication to building worlds that feel ancient, dangerous, and alive.
